Sarah Wise-Schwieger
Licensed Preplanning Specialist and Monument Consultant
Sarah was born and raised in Hastings, Minnesota, and graduated with the Class of 1996. In 2005, she married her husband, Ben, and together they are proud parents of three children—Matthew, Laney, and Beckett.
She began her career in the funeral industry in 2006 and has since served in a variety of roles, including Office Manager, Funeral Director’s Assistant, and now Preplanning Specialist and Monument Consultant. Sarah finds great fulfillment in helping families prepare and plan; ensuring peace of mind for the future.
Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys traveling, staying active, and most of all, spending time with her family. She also gives back to her community as Vice President of the Hastings Catholic Education Foundation and through her volunteer work at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School.
Sarah's experience and passion for guiding families will benefit everyone she serves and we are excited to have her on the team.

Lane lives in Stillwater, Minnesota, with his wife, Laura, and their three dogs. Their son, Ben, is a junior at Grand Canyon University in Arizona. Lane brings decades of experience in communication, community engagement, and building relationships with people.
Before joining The Memorial & Planning Group, Lane had a long career with the City of Minneapolis, where he collaborated with residents, neighborhoods, and community organizations. He listened and shared information with people, brought groups together, and helped people improve their environment.
Working in preplanning lets Lane do what he enjoys most: working directly with people, helping make the decisions they face understandable and manageable, and helping create plans that reflect their wishes while providing peace of mind for them and their families.
Outside of work, Lane enjoys golf, music, biking, and spending time with Laura and their dogs. He also enjoys being part of the Stillwater community and meeting new people.
